A Leader Who Works

I am writing this letter to recommend Stephen Brand for Delaware Commissioner.  I first met Stephen when he took my place on the MSD Board of Commissioners after I retired.  He immediately went to work learning all of the projects that had been completed in the past and learning about what still needed to be done to serve the people of Muncie.  After a short time, it was very obvious that he was there to help the district, its 150 employees and the customers of the sanitary district.

More importantly, Stephen has maintained the morale of the employees and the management team while making positive and productive changes in the district.  Stephen has the qualifications necessary to be an effective Delaware County Commissioner and that is to BETTER SERVE THE PUBLIC.  He will be a full-time commissioner for his district and I’ve never known anyone to work harder for his people.

These same qualities are apparent in his service on the Chamber of Commerce Board, the Delaware Advancement Corporation Board and all of the other charities and activities he supports. Stephen cares about his community.  A vote for Stephen Brand is a vote for responsible leadership!
