Proven Ability to Bring People Together

Stephen Brand has the proven ability to bring people together for positive results. His results show that he is the right person for Commissioner of Delaware County. Here are just two of many examples that we have worked on together.

As MSD Board President, he helped transform the systems and operations at the Muncie Sanitary District into a highly effective organization. MSD now provides consistent communication, which includes public meeting explanations and the posting of all financial claims. All financial claims being visible on the Delaware County website would help provide transparency that is lacking to all county residents. Stephen Brand promises to make it happen.

Stephen also created and facilitated a monthly, joint City / County Economic development meeting that included Traci Lutton, Jay Julian, Brad Bookout, myself, and others back in 2020. These discussions, over time, enhanced the communication and cooperation between the economic teams. That cooperation proved to be critical when the state reached out to Traci and Jay from the Economic Alliance about a possible $380M CanPack facility. Collaboration ultimately won the project and Stephen played an important role behind the scenes that benefited all of Delaware County with those monthly communication meetings.

Stephen Brand has shown proven leadership skills and a collaborative style that will produce positive results to Delaware County. He has my vote.
